NVAA Certificate of Completion

OVC will award each participant a Certificate of Completion following the training(s).

You will receive your certificate after you:

  • Attend at least 95 % of the training.
  • Participate in all training learning activities.
  • Complete all pre-Academy assignments.
  • Complete the training evaluations.

Evaluation is an important component of every OVC training. For the NVAA we ask that you complete a few evaluation materials before and after the training.

  1. 2008 NVAA Participant Information and Pre-Academy Assessment Form. This form generally takes about 15 minutes to complete. It helps us understand participants’ knowledge base and needs, their expectations for the training, and how they may use the knowledge and skills gained from the training in their work. Materials will be e-mailed to participants when they confirm their attendance at the NVAA.

  2. 2008 NVAA Daily Feedback Forms. These forms are completed at the end of each training day. They generally take about 5 minutes to complete. These forms help us determine how successful we have been in the designing and delivery of the training.

  3. 2008 NVAA Overall and Post-Academy Assessment Form. This generally takes about 15 minutes to complete at the end of the NVAA training, and supplements the information on the Daily Feedback Forms. It is used to understand how well participants’ expectations were met and how participants plan to apply the knowledge and skills learned in the training to their work. The Post-Academy Assessment Form assesses gains in new knowledge after completing the NVAA.

  4. 2008 NVAA Follow-up Survey. The survey is e-mailed to participants 6 – 12 weeks after the conclusion of the NVAA training, and generally takes about 10 minutes to complete. The survey results help us capture how well the Academy met participants’ needs and if participants have been able to use the information and skills gained from the training in their work.

Changes are made to the training(s) based on the feedback you provide. The evaluation materials that you complete during the training(s) are confidential and are not shared with anyone other than the OVC TTAC Evaluation Team.
