2007 National Victim Assistance Academy Curriculum

The materials listed below are from the 2007 National Victim Assistance Academy (NVAA), Foundation-level training, held December 9-13, 2007, in Linthicum Heights, Maryland. This NVAA was the first following the assessment and re-design of the foundation-level curriculum and is based on adult learning principles.

The contents of these manuals may be reprinted and adapted by victim services providers and allied professionals. These materials were developed by the NVAA Work Group in conjunction with the Office for Victims of Crime Training and Technical Assistance Center, Office for Victims of Crime, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice and can be reprinted or adapted without the expressed permission of the U.S. Department of Justice.
