Additional Information

• Program funds are awarded based on the availability of funding.
• No state may receive more than one award per calendar year.
• If awarded, the organization will be asked to provide conference-related information to the OVC Training and Technical Assistance Center (OVC TTAC) to allow for advance postings on the OVC TTAC Web site and OVC e-mail listserv announcements about their event.
• The awarded organization will also be asked to:

1. Identify the Office for Victims of Crime as a conference cosponsor on all conference promotional materials and electronic announcements.
2. Extend to OVC's Director an opportunity to address the conference audience, as well as an opportunity to present a workshop presentation about OVC resources, and about DOJ faith and community-based initiatives.
3. Include OVC-provided language on all conference promotional materials and electronic announcements. This language will be provided upon award of support
4. Upon request, accommodate complimentary space for a conference demonstration or exhibit by OVC's Training and Technical Assistance Center and Resource Center.

• Hospitality suites, kick-off receptions, and the like cannot be supported with awarded funds.
• Support available via the OVC State Conference Support Program may not be used to supplant funding previously allocated for conference support.
