Module 2: What Is Sexual Assault Advocacy/Counseling?
Use this module to help your participants understand their roles and responsibilities as advocates and the roles of others with whom they will work. The module also will help participants determine if the advocate role is appropriate for them.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this module, participants will be able to
Describe the composition of a SART.
Identify the major roles of an advocate.
Make appropriate decisions based on state confidentiality laws.
Describe personal issues that might affect their ability to be effective advocates.
