A basic victim advocacy Web-based training program that offers victim service providers and allied professionals the opportunity to acquire the basic skills and knowledge they need to better assist victims of crime. Specific information is also provided to meet the needs of target populations.
NOTE: VAT Online is currently being revised and updated. Basic information and core knowledge and skills will be covered in 19 VAT Online modules, which each take 30–90 minutes to complete. These modules will be available in early 2014. Additional VAT Online modules that address specific crimes and the needs of special populations will be launched in 2014.
