NVAA Foundation-Level Training Curriculum

NVAA Menu

These materials were previously delivered for the National Victim Assistance Academy Foundation-Level Training, held March 14-18, 2011, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The National Victim Assistance Academy (NVAA) is the result of the visionary leadership and support of the U.S. Department of Justice, Office for Victims of Crime (OVC). The guidance and contributions of OVC staff and subject matter experts in the field of victim services have proven to be essential in the development of the curriculum and delivery of the NVAA from 2006 through 2011.

The NVAA Work Group worked closely with OVC to lend knowledge and insight to the redesign of these materials. The Work Group, composed of nationally known scholars and practitioners, made recommendations and developed material that comprises the NVAA.
