OVC TTAC: Acknowledgments
Acknowledgments

OVC is pleased to make the online version of its successful Ethics in Victim Services training available. Ethics in Victim Services was designed primarily to assist those who work in the field of victim services. OVC created this online version to make the course more widely available.

Material in the Instructor's Manual was largely excerpted or paraphrased from material prepared by the University of South Carolina, Center for Child and Family Studies (http://www.sc.edu/ccfs/) under OVC Grant No. 95-MU-GX-K002 SUP 7, awarded to Victims' Assistance Legal Organization (VALOR) and is used here by the Office for Victims of Crime with acknowledgement to the University of South Carolina.

Material in the Participant's Manual was largely excerpted or paraphrased from writings by Melissa Hook with funding provided by the U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office for Victims of Crime, under OVC Grant No. 95-MU-GX-K002. These materials were subsequently published in a text, Ethics in Victim Services (Baltimore: Sidran Institute Press and VALOR, 2005) and are used here by OVC with acknowledgment to the text's publisher.

OVC would specifically like to acknowledge Kevin O'Brien, National Center for Victims of Crime (NCVC), for his contributions to the Ethics in Victim Services training.

The opinions, findings, and conclusions expressed in these documents are those of the authors and do not necessarily represent the official position or policies of the U.S. Department of Justice.
